Complimentary beverages were greatly appreciated. It was a little but difficult to get out of the port because they're designed to keep passengers there but once out it was close and easy to find. We had 2 adults, a 10 and a 1 year old, it was a great day for the family. I was nervous to book with Facebook messenger but it was very easy and although there were 3 ships in port that day they were ready and waiting for us. We rented a 4 person cart for the day for $60. The golf cart we got was basically brand new, worked well, very clean, had the 2 backward facing seats at the back, had some good power when needed, and comfortably held 4 bigger guys & our gear. We stopped at a number of their recommended places and they were all fantastic for service, food, and drinks. It would be basically impossible to get lost, so don't worry about that. They golf cart guys give you a map of the area & highlight some of their recommended places. As you leave the port, there are a number of small convenience stores / huts - a great place to load up on refreshments & the prices were fantastic. Very friendly people and we were out of there in just a couple minutes. The reservation process was simple and getting the cart at the port was an easy process. But glad they were booked, as we did the golf cart instead and had a blast. Our original plans were to go to a nice beach club for the day but the top ones were booked (and I tried booking over a month in advance!). I gave the owner my email and told him to follow up if he needed anything to try to be helpful. And just so you know I met the owner and he was very cool, naturally he was upset about the incident and we were sad to hear his employee was punished for truly doing us a solid by the port authority him and the other guy when our redshirt did nothing wrong. We had a good time, follow their instructions and you’ll be fine they are legit. I casually mentioned it happened to be my birthday and he immediately started pouring me a shot, the hospitality here was great. Also this is important on the way out or back you are going to pass a big shop with blankets, the owner there charges less than the ports by almost half and is friendly beyond belief (highly recommend you go see him). If you see someone wearing a redshirt say hi or go in at a few places they give you free drinks for having the cart, not big or anything but hey! They will tell you where to chill, where to swim, etc. It’s like 10 minutes by golf cart to everything. There are multiple bars you can go to they point them out and give you the 411 on where to shop. I was mildly concerned at first but it was all good, so heads up there. He did hold an ID with the paperwork said it was standard. This guy (a redshirt who was helping us) played it totally cool didn’t react at all and immediately updated security and off we were no biggie. The other guy got mad and knocked his clipboard out of his hand and even kicked it. The guy who grabbed us first tried to overcharge us at $100 until this guy saved us and only charged us $60.
